As
I mentioned in a recent blog post, earlier this year I moved into my sisters
old bedroom. Redecorating my room and making it my own was this years project.
Even though I believe my room will never be 100% done I am very happy with it
at this point and am finally ready to
show the internet what I have done with it. I'm so excited to share it
with everyone, I hope you enjoy and maybe even get some inspiration for your
own room!
When I moved into my new room, I decided to repaint it all white so that it would really open it up and look clean and fresh. I kept all of my furniture from my previous room including my bed frame, bed side table and tall boy. I collected pillows from all over the place but tried to stick with a colour scheme of black, white and soft pink!

When I moved all bedroom furniture into my new room something immediately felt off to me. The room was lacking height and looked very slouchy. So i set out to Bunnings to buy a shelf with intention of placing it above my bed and sitting a few picture frames/art work on top. A few weeks ago the pinboard idea came to me and I decorated with some knick-knacks around it. I also hung some really pretty fairy lights underneath to create a very cosy effect.

On my bedside table I like to keep things very simple! I purchased this copper-wired tray that I think complements the colour scheme of my room perfectly. I like to keep my diary, pencil case and the current book I am reading in here. My camera also usually sits on top, when I'm not using it of course!
Then, in front of my bed is my tallboy or chest of draws. On top of this is my tv and some other things. Next to my tv I keep my perfume, hand cream and a photograph of my pop. They all sit on top of this marble printed piece of cardboard that I often use for the backdrop of my blog pictures!
